From an early, noisy, rhythmic start (a combination of banging on pots and pans and tap dancing), Chris Di Bernardo has quickly gained a reputation as an in-demand and professional band member, session player, percussionist, and educator in the Madison, WI area.

Professionally, Chris records and plays drum set full time with Sam Lyons, David Hecht and Who Dat, and Lodi. Chris is also frequent performer and session musician with bands such as Mama Digdown's Brass Band, STEEZ, The Extra Crispy Brass Band, Primitive Culture, and many others.

Chris has a passion for instruments from around the world, especially the berimbau, pandeiro, hoop drum, djembe, and congas. He can occasionally be found playing these instruments at dance classes in Madison.

With an extensive background in many styles of playing, Chris teaches drum and percussion lessons to all ages and skill levels from The Madison Music Foundry. 
hris also works as a clinician with percussion ensembles, large and small jazz groups, and bands, as well as a teaching variety of concepts and ideas from his own studies and experiences.
